| Personal History | Rose was born on Drax at her family home, her mother being a Starfleet Officer elected to return to be with her husband for the birth of their first and only child. Growing up between the Drax system and Starfleet starships and starbases, Rose grew interested in a life amongst the stars. It was whilst out amongst those stars on the night of Rose’s 3rd birthday that Rose and her mother were assimilated by the Borg. Her father and a small group of the crew were off ship surveying a nearby planet and thus survived the attack. Rose remained as part of the Borg collective until she was 10, when the sphere she was on was downed by a Ion storm. Rescued and returned to her father Rose was re-educated aboard starships and starbases until she returned to Betazed at the age of 16, when she was accepted at Betazed University studying Psychology. Two years later she applied to and was accepted at Starfleet Academy at the age of 18. Rose was a dedicated Academy student, her mixed heritage lead to a few disagreements with other students. She was also very sensitive about her Borg past. Being part Drax Rose also took an interest in Operations whilst at the Academy as her secondary specialism. She graduated Starfleet Academy four years later with honours in both Counselling and Operations management. In she was offered the chance to serve aboard her father's Science vessel the Drax ship T'Par which she was only too happy to accept. She remained onboard for a year before moving on. Rose is expecting her first child. Her child’s father Jason was killed shortly before Rose could tell him she was expecting. She has now been offered her first position as Chief Counsellor and happily accepted. |
