Medical check in

Rose made her way to Sickbay, she needed to sort out her boarding medical as well as her six month check up. Entering Sickbay she looked around seeing who was there.

Xavon looked around as he was preparing for his next meeting getting his tricorder and impliments ready, it had been a few hours since he had agreed to take the CMO postion and he wanted to make sure he did this right to not salter his mood or the crews for that matter, poking his head round the corner "You must be my 12:00 o'clock Lieutenant Kersey i assume? Welcome to the endurence please follow me to the bio bed" he said with his lab coat on and tricorder in hand.

“That’s me” Rose smiled politely and followed on to the nearest biobed, her impression so far was a pretty positive one. She didn’t like to make assumptions about people before she actually got to know them.

He smiled "Welcome to the Endurance Lieutenant we will get this over and done with pretty soon" he said with a smile forming on his face "Im the cheif medical officer Xavon Starkweather at your service," he said grabbing his tricorder and implements "Just going to get the tricorder stuff out of the way" he swiped over the tricorder waiting for the results to come through.

“It’s nice to meet you Doctor” Rose smiled warmly. “I’ve no doubt you’re keeping busy with all the boarding medicals.”

Xavon laughed a little "Ahh but lieutenant that’s the fun part i get to meet all the new faces and get to know them "You can call me xavon if you wish doctor just seems to formal" He said with a light wink "Well i can tell you Lieutenant that you and baby are in fantastic health you’re both on track and your health is exemplary however i think you could do with a little more iron in your diet your red blood cell count is a little low, i can prescribe some folic acid to help with that and maybe eat some more regular red meat to help the count a little, but other than that i just need to run a few other tests and you can be off on your way to cause mayhem and mischief" he said slightly laughing.

“Mayhem and mischief...me!?” Rose grinned playfully. “I would never do such a thing! I’m Chief Counsellor I’m supposed to lead by example.”

He laughed as he grabbed his stethoscope and checked her heartbeat and checked her pulse as well "Well lieutenant it would appear that your medical check up is done your in great health so mischief and mayhem are on the bill" He said with a little wink, he grabbed a hypospray for folic acid "I'll give you one dose of folic acid now and send you on your way with a hypo-spray one a day in the morning to keep your blood cell count up" he said with a smile "Ahh so me and you will be working quite close with each other i'll have to remind my self to stop by your office for a routine evaluation its only fare you get to do the same to me" he said laughing.

“Sounds good to me!” Rose grinned playfully. “I’ll make sure I take this hypo as part of my usual morning routine, that way I won’t forget.”

Xavon smiled at her "if you get any problems what so ever I'm always in my office at sick bay so i'll always be around should you need me" he said with a wide grin "That is your medical all over and done with lieutenant you are free to leave sick bay" He said tapping the bio bed as he smiled "I'll be sure to set up my evaluation so you can get to know the Romulan under the hood" he said with a slight laugh.

“In that case I’ll look forward to getting to know you better.” Rose smiled warmly. “I’ll make your evaluation quick and painless too, that I promise.” She stood ready to leave.

Xavon was always a few steps behind most "Lieutenant how would like to go for a drink after my shift finishes? its ok if you don't want to its not every day i have a patient who seems to like my jovial attitude and bedside manner" he said with a slight smile and chuckle.

Rose gave Xavon a surprised look, “Are you kidding! I love your sense of humour, and yes I’d love to join you for that drink.”

Xavon smiled the widest of smiles "Ok I'll drop by your office and come pick you up in about an hours time as that’s when i get off!" he laughed "Im glad someone does my father hates my sense of humor purely based on the fact its so cheesy and corny" he said with a nervous laugh.

Rose offered a warmer smile. “I think your humour is wonderful, you know it’s a very powerful emotion.”

"You should see me around my best friends you wouldn’t be saying that paul and roos are way worse than me and bring out the worst in my humor" He said with a brief smile "Luckily for both of us They are otherwise detained on other ships so we will only ever run into them if we happen to be on the same station which will be very rare" he said laughing.

“Well feel free to be as funny as you like around me, I don’t mind at all Xavon.” Rose offered the warmest smile yet. “I’ll see you in an hour.”

Xavon smiled "I'll see you in an hour rose" He said as turned to pack all of his impliments away and got ready to hand over to the head nurse who would be taking over after him, a small yet happy and eleated smile forming on his lips as he played with his hair.
